Weary of their condo’s original “90s-vanilla” kitchen, hospitable Minneapolis, MN homeowners consulted with Interior Designer Mallory Archer. She understood their desires for enhanced function and aesthetics in the heart of their home. 

Modern kitchen design excites, inspires. Interior Designer Mallory Archer opens spaces, adds vivid color splashes, and creates focal points that make this Minneapolis, MN kitchen design stand out. Her first order of business was to rearrange the original work triangle, making the kitchen design more functional – and fun – for entertaining.

A colorful “Karma” mosaic glass tile backsplash on the curved back wall trumped overhead cabinets in this Minneapolis condo kitchen design. The remodel includes a custom, three-tiered island with a special pop-up feature that accommodates an often-used, large mixer.

Juxtaposition of forms and finishes unify, delight. Aesthetics tie together three zones within the space, including seating areas, a drink bar, and ample food-prep areas. Valcucine cabinetry creates a modern aesthetic in the kitchen design, with its clean lines and contrasting Gloss Blue with Gloss Ice White laminates.
